1. Prohibited and Restricted Items
To ensure the safety, security, and integrity of our marketplace, the following items are prohibited or restricted. Sellers must comply with these guidelines when listing products. Violations may result in the removal of listings, account suspension, or permanent banning.
2. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from being sold on our marketplace:
- Illegal Goods: Items that are illegal under local, national, or international law, including but not limited to drugs, counterfeit goods, and stolen property.
- Dangerous Weapons and Firearms: Firearms, explosives, ammunition, and weapons of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, all knives, swords, hunting equipment, etc.
- Tobacco and Related Products: Cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vape products, and all other tobacco-related products.
- Adult Content and Services: Pornographic material, explicit content, and services of an adult nature.
- Hate Speech and Offensive Material: Products that promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or any other protected characteristic.
- Illegal Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia: Controlled substances, including recreational and medicinal drugs prohibited by law, and drug-related paraphernalia.
- Gambling Services: Unauthorized gambling products and services, including lottery tickets and betting services.
- Human and Animal Remains: Human body parts, remains, or anatomical specimens, as well as the sale of animals or animal products banned by local and international wildlife laws.
- Scams and Fraudulent Items: Products, services, or listings designed to deceive or scam buyers, including phishing tools, fake advertisements, and pyramid schemes.
- Unlicensed Medical and Health Products: Prescription drugs, medical devices, and health products that are unapproved or not authorized by regulatory authorities.
- Counterfeit Items: Items that infringe upon intellectual property rights, including but not limited to, fake goods, replicas, or imitations of branded products.
3. Restricted Items
Certain items are allowed to be sold only under specific conditions. Sellers must adhere to the following restrictions:
- Alcohol: The sale of alcoholic beverages is restricted to licensed vendors and requires age verification and adherence to regional laws.
- Prescription Medications: Only licensed pharmacies or authorized sellers may list prescription medications, and they must comply with regulatory standards and legal requirements.

- Health and Beauty Products: Sellers of cosmetics, supplements, or health-related products must ensure they meet safety standards and are approved by relevant authorities. All products must be clearly labelled with ingredients and usage instructions.
- Second-Hand Electronics: Used electronics, including phones, computers, and other devices, must be properly sanitized, free from malicious software, and in good working condition. All devices must be accurately described.
- Antiques and Collectibles: The sale of antiques or collectible items must comply with local regulations and requires verifiable proof of authenticity (e.g., certificates of authenticity, expert appraisals, or historical documentation).
- Live Animals: The sale of live animals is restricted and must follow specific guidelines related to animal welfare laws and regulations, including proper care, transportation, and permits. Sellers must comply with all applicable local, regional, and national laws.
4. General Guidelines for All Listings
- All items must be accurately described, including any defects or issues.
- Sellers must have appropriate documentation for restricted items, such as licenses, certifications, or age-verification tools.
- Sellers must comply with local, state, and international laws regarding the sale and shipment of restricted or prohibited items.
- Sellers must respect intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks.
- Sellers must provide accurate and up-to-date contact information.
5. Payment Reserve Policy
The Payment Reserve Policy at Brhan is established to ensure integrity, security, and trust. This policy is designed to protect all participants from fraud, manage chargebacks, verify seller practices, and maintain marketplace standards.
- Fraud Prevention: Funds are held to mitigate fraud risk.
- Chargeback Management: Funds are reserved to cover potential chargebacks or refunds.
- Seller Verification: Extended reserve for new sellers to verify practices.
- Quality Assurance: Encourages high order fulfillment standards.
- Operational Integrity: Ensures correct transaction processing.
- Buyer Protection: Provides security for buyers.
- Risk Assessment: Hold periods may be extended based on account activity.
- Legal and Policy Compliance: Ensures all transactions comply with requirements.

6. Duration of Payment Reserve
- New Sellers: Funds may be held for up to one month upon account creation. "New Seller" is defined as any seller operating for less than 30 days on the platform.
- Existing Sellers: Holds may vary based on account history, transaction specifics, and performance metrics. "Existing Seller" is defined as any seller operating for more than 30 days on the platform.
7. Release of Funds
Funds are typically released after:
- The order is marked as shipped with tracking.
- The return period has passed without disputes.
- Any additional verification is satisfied.
8. Appeal and Support
Sellers can appeal a hold and must provide complete order and shipping details. The appeal process takes approximately 3-5 business days. Sellers will be notified of the outcome of their appeal.
